Alexandra Uryasova was accepted as a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia for her creative development

On July 5, 2023, Alexandra Uryasova was accepted as a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR) for her creative development, creative approach and original vision of painting, the diversity of views on forms, styles and techniques in her projects.

The Creative Union of Artists of Russia is part of the International Federation of Artists of UNESCO, an all-Russian public organization that unites about fifteen thousand professional artists throughout Russia in 48 regions. TSHR holds exhibitions, publishes catalogs and books on art, conducts classes and master classes in painting, drawing and sculpture for professionals and amateurs, organizes conferences, symposiums, auctions, implements large-scale international projects with the participation of artists and curators from different countries.

The history of the creation of the Creative Union of Artists originates from the “Professional Union of Artists-Painters of Moscow” (SOZHIV) created in April 1917 on the initiative of a number of Moscow creative associations.
In 1919, the First All-Russian Congress of Art Workers established its own trade union – RABIS “Union of Art Workers” (Sorabis).
Over the years, its members were Kazimir Malevich, Marc Chagall, Alexander Rodchenko, Boris Ioganson, Vladimir Serov, Igor Grabar, Kukryniksy.
Since 1924, RABIS became known as the All-Union Trade Union of Art Workers, and in 1953 it merged into a single trade union of cultural workers, numbering 150,000 people.
In the 1990s, the trade union of artists and graphic artists, which united masters of fine art, book graphics, posters, photo artists, designers, architects, cartographers, etc., was transformed into a professional creative union, and then in 1998 into the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, which is currently part of the International Federation of Artists of UNESCO.

The works of members of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum named after A.S. Pushkin, the Russian Museum, other museums in Russia and foreign countries.
