Parisian sketches

“Flea markets are part of Parisian culture. In the markets you can see both nonsense for 1 euro and collectible antiques from the era of Napoleon III.
A porcelain service from the beginning of the century, which was gathering dust in the pantry of a bourgeois Parisian house, or a whole old wardrobe of a rich lady – shawls, coats, suits, bags from the last century and hats that have come back into fashion.

Parisians are divided into those who love flea markets and those who can’t stand them.
Here is a sketch of a flea market on a Sunday winter morning on the famous Boulevard Montparnasse.”
